Veins in the windshield

Everytime it rains or I use my windshield wipers, the water leaves vertical "veins" on the windshield. What causes this, and is there anything I can do about it?

What is a "vein"?

There is a service bulletin on this issue. Take it to Acura and they will replace your tubing, wipers, and fluid. The fluid corrodes the tubing somehow and leaves streaks.
