valet 551t and 02 remote fob for my 01 CLS
Hi all,
I was planning on installing the valet 551t into my 2001 CLS and getting the 2002 remote fob. My question is will I be able to program the new remote for remote start up or should I let the installer program it. Is it difficult to do it myself? Another option is program the remote to my car first then get the 551t second? I need suggestions. Also, I've read that some people programmed their remote to press the lock button 3 times to activate the remote start. Can I use the panic button to do that instead because I have no use for the panic button. Thanks in advance.
