Unhappy Vacuum lines

My mechanic pulled all the hoses before i got a chance to label them so now my car isnt' starting and i would like to check and confirm the connections so can anyone post up the diagram for the Vacuum lines from the helms manual?

or pic of their own car of the vacuum lines SC'd perferbably but stock will also help

PLEASE!!!! my car isnt' starting and i just installed the SC and i'm having problems getting it to run. it ran for 2 whole minutes and then it shut it self off and now it isnt' starting at all.

Any other suggestions what it may be?

if he knew... he texted me "i know what the problem is. get me the vacuum line diagram"
pffff he obviously didn't remember the connections as he said he did. i was right in the middle of labelling them and he just ripped them right out saying "you read your manual...." kind of attitude thinking he knows all.

now my car isnt' starting and there's no way of checking if my vacuum lines are correct unless someone on here helps me out with the diagram or i may just have to order the helms manual, which i rather not do because i'll take 2-3weeks to get here!!! i'm not trying to have my car sit that long as it is already sitting for the past 3weeks

This really sucks and i can't seem to get any help

I don't remember but there may be a pic of the routing under the hood on a sticker.

Has it started at all since the SC was installed? If not, I would go back through the install step by step.

Have you checked the fuel pump operation?

Also, check your ECU fuse.

when everything was installed we started it up for a minute then turned it off. started it again and left it running for 2 minutes and then it shut itself off.... this was before i discovered 2 hoses were installed in the wrong ports.

came back the next day to fix the hoses and it still won't run... any ideas?

One set of lines running to the throttle body carry coolant. The other set is vacuum. You could have coolant in your intake and all the way into the cylinders potentially.

Have you checked your coolant level? Also would be worth pulling some plugs to see if they are coolant fouled.

bah... this is bad.... it was flooded and he kept on starting the car when it was all in there.
we flushed out the oil and definately there was tons of it in there. started it up again and it started! BUT there's a ticking sound comming from the back left of the head and tons of white smoke from burning the rest of the coolant from the exhaust.

Got the main sensor code as well. following this SC and header install too possibly running to rich or those sensors could be done due to the coolant... i'm not to sure but my main concern is this clicking sound.

I'm thinking a rod is bent or something. my mech buddy thinks it could be a one of the spark plugs.... Anyone else might chime in what it may be? missfire etc.

Could be a bent rod but I really hope not. If enough coolant made it to the cylinder, it could have been hydrolock that killed the motor. Not sure how to test for a bent rod.

What is the shop saying that they'll do for you?

Good luck.

it's my buddy's shop and he's now not chargin me dick all for everything considering he is responsible for this situation now. but as of this new problem he hasn't stepped up to pull this out out of his pockets and it would be retarded if it came out of mine..... all he mentioned is that my car will get the best treatment here and that the timing belt will get changed at 1/2 the cost. aside from all that he tells me to get another mechanic out here to work on it instead of him as he is only going to do a compression test. now i'm really fustrated.

what if the the rod is bent? what is the fix and is it expensive?
Anything else might cause this notorious clicking sound from the rear head to the left?

Take the charger off. Put the car back to stock. Then troubleshoot from there. If you bent a rod you may as well buy a new engine or rebuilt it.
Sounds like your "buddy" needs to learn how to work on a car. If you can't figure out how to connect vacumn lines or at least put them back the way they were he has zero bussiness being in bussines.

Your tellin me... i was the one who figured out the lines and i'm no mechanic. he must of not cared and rushed the job. everything he does is rush rush. i'm surprised he got a SR-V motor swap done over night and yet didn't f that up...

i didn't even want him workin on the car the first place i just wanted him to reseal the SC for me and that was it. being that he was my buddy he insisted he help me and etc.. i couldn't get out of it so he did it. my other mechanic that works at honda was originally suppose to do the install but he was out on vacation and also insisted that i went to him... should have just done it myself. There's a reason y I passed high school and he didn't..............

I would use an engine stethoscope to isolate the source of the ticking as a start. Reverting back to stock without the charger is a good idea to make sure you have a good base engine to work with though.
