I know this came up last year and a place offered to do an install for like 2000 buck but here's some pics if you want to try it your self.

But, it defeats the purpose of a concealed display.

I've seen the V1 mounted in a fake 3rd brake light. Display in a ventilation vent. Control knob under seat. That's concealed.

NICE, but I would like to do that with the main sensor unit, but still keep the remote display on the steering wheel like I have it.

I wonder how that type of install effects REAR laser detection.
Wouldn’t it bounce off the mirror before being detected?

Yeah, this is pretty old news. I even think Ron (Streeteffectz) does this. I would never get this b/c, like Bluto said it kind of ruins the concealed look. Cool nonetheless, but pretty damn pricey.....

I know there is a guy on DTMPower.net who does this for you for like $300. I think you just send him a concealed display and your rear view mirror.

If a cop pulls you over, its not bright enough for the cop to see at an angle.

the concealed display is not the problem with this thing... being in the mirror it basically is concealed.

the PROBLEM is... V1's finest trait is that fact that it has a shielded magnesium casing... that is one of the reasons it is so good.

if you remove that then, you defeat the purpose.

my 2 cents.
