other day I was racing w Prelude SH. it had muflers, it looked souped up. I passed him for a 2 car lenght. it was rainy day. so my VSA was on. when I hit 6800rpm my trany would not switch gears ('03 CLS stock w auto trany) so i got stock on 2nd, but rpm kept going up. I switched to tiptronic, still wouldn't change. finally I put on Neutral and it did. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS? OR SOMEONE HAD SIMILAR PROBLEM?

i've had it happen numerous times. before and after i had my tranny and ECU replaced.

very frustrating.

 

Mine has done that several times too. I would like to know why???
