UR Ultra-SS Pulleys Have Arrived

Well I've got to hand to it Nopi Online for getting these things here so fast. I ordered them Sunday night and they just arrived earlier today.

On Monday I was concerned because I hadn't received anything in my email letting me know my order had been received. Well on Monday night I got an email back explaining everything. Great customer service.

Also people mentioned their high prices but I got these suckers for nearly $230+ off of retail.

Now I'm waiting for the Comptech Exhaust and B-pipe to arrive and its off to PAA on the 26th. Can't wait.

Don't forget the power steering belt. The stock one doesn't fit.

Yeah that’s a must. Read on the sheet that they recommend going with Gates brand belts. We'll see about that.

Congrats Chap... you'll love 'em...

You got them for $230 OFF retail???!! so you paid $70.00 for the full set?

Just remember... the CT exhaust takes the low-end snap away .. I regained that snap when I took my CT exhaust off .. the pulley's compensate a little for that loss of "snap" .. i really missed it after a while. But my top end was pretty exciting... your whole package will be tight, though. You won't regret any of these mods, congrats.

$213 is not for the type S application. It's 304$ for the three piece set for the type S.

That's the wrong item number listed in the link above.

Yeah they took down the Ultra SS Pulley apps for the Type S that I got at $219 + $11 for shipping.

This is the correct link to them at their current price:

http://www.nopionline.com/ecat2004/d...02003&vaffid=0

Sounds like they'll be back at their sale price soon so keep looking.

Well the suggested retail for them is at $449 but i've never seen it that high anywhere.

I got them for $230 shipped. Not a bad deal.

Thanks for the heads up on the loss of low end power with the exhaust. I forgot about that. Everything will go on in a week from Monday so i'll give ya a full review of how it feels.

Also did you have the b-pipe on with your setup?

I didn't have the b-pipe, chap. I don't mean to kill your excitement, but I ended up getting tired of that drone only b/c i commute on the highway a lot. During aggressive driving, however, I loved it.

Also, I miss that deep rumble when I start my car... let's me and everyone near the car know what's up.

I had a Supertrap muffler on my Prelude that allowed adjustment of the backpressure. Sounded great too. Don't think those would look too swift on a CL though.

I just put my CT exhaust on last week .. I don't feel any loss of low end at all. infact the only thing I think the exhaust changed was the sound of the car. no low end loss, no high end gain.

Yeah I’m gonna have to give it some time to see how the droning effects me. There's always the quiet tip but they take away almost ALL of the sound. Now ould you consider the droning a bad sound ( ) or more of that it just got annoying?

From what people have told me they compared it to a Z/G35c exhaust except a bit louder. Agree? Not sure if the Z/G35c’s have any droning issues on their stock exhaust however.

Either way i'll know soon enough.

G's and Z's don't drone like the CT exhaust does... but they sound very similar from OUTSIDE when moderate to full throttle. I've heard both, and I'd agree that they're similar.
