UR Ultra SS Pulley Kit: Weight numbers, wow!!
I just got my UR pulley kit like 1hr ago, All what I can say is "wow"!
They look fabulous, Polishied Precision Cut Al Beauties
Immediately, I went and grabbed the digital mail scale. Here you go, all the weight numbers.
Alt Pulley: 2.5 Oz or 71g
P/S Pulley: 5.2 Oz or 147g
Crank Pulley: 20 Oz or 567g
Now, we are talking about some ultra light weight pulleys.
No clue yet about how heavy are the stock pulleys.

I called and scheduled an 8:00 AM appointment, on Thursday Morning with those guys: http://www.mechanicsdirect.com/performance.htm
Should be ready by 9:30 AM. I printed the needed pages from Helms manual for the PS, Alt and and Crank Pulleys removal and installation, just in case, and to make sure that they would follow Acura's procedures.
Let you know how it goes.

Nashua, if you have a chance, I'd love to see a comparison between the weight of the stock and UR pulleys. Throw in a before/after dyno, and we'll have a pretty nice picture of what those little pulleys can do.
You don't look like you're running a high drain system (stock?) so we won't know how much the underdrive will adversely affect electric output. Oh well...

Well, I took the plunge. Just ordered the pullies this morning. I called PAA regarding the install. I was told $240.00 for installation. There is a special on the unorthodox racing website of 10% off for the month of June, so I ordered the set directly through them. Hopefully It won't take more than a week for them to be delivered so I can schedule an appointment to get them installed.

$240 is expensive, but it's not going to be an easy install for Joe Average to do because of that 180 ft-lb bolt that you have to take out and replace. Plus, you REALLY don't want to fuck up installing pulleys else your car is going nowhere fast.

I know $240.00 is expensive but I really wouldn't want someone I don't trust installing them. It is 3 hours of labor, So I guess the install isn't as simple as I thought it waould be. At least for that price I know I have a qualified mechanic installing them.
