UR Alt Pulley Status: Part III

According to Jean Pierre of UR. The Polished Alt Pulley are in as of yesterday, Monday, August 5th. The Colored Alt Pulley should be in either today or this week at the latest.

I called and left a voice email with "some emotional content".

He callled me back, appologizing for the extra long delay. He will make sure that it was either shipped yesterday, or will be shipped today.

He will email me the tracking info ASAP.

I just called my credit card. No charges from UR yet and i ordered a polished one. I would think they would have charged my account if they already shipped it to me. I'mgoing to hav to call them tomorrow at work.

I got a call from Jean Pierre.... How cheap UR is!!!

..... I was amazed when he imformed me he cannot ship the Alt Pulley until I either charged it on my Credit Card or I ship back the Atl Pulley that I have ( the Accord one)!!!!

I said

Are you so cheap! If you are a decent co you would ship me a replacement Alt WITH ship-back label. Then, I would ship you back the Accord Alt Pullye in the same box! This is how I was treated by Injen Co when they replaced the CAI tube.

I added that is your mistake and you have to correct it! He said, yes I can do that and I will see what I can do...

I never deal with so cheap co anyore.I'll never buy another UR product just because of the way they treat their customer!

That is really cheap!!!! For the excessive delay they should at least overnight them to us. I want to make an appointment to get them installed but who knows how long it will take to get them delivered!

I just sent this letter to Jean Pierre at UR:
Jean,

It's been more than 10 weeks and no Atl Pulley.
Now, you said that the UR Acura CLS Alt Pulley are in your stock.

I demand with no further delay to ship me a new UR Alt Pulley for 2001 Acura CL Type-S (Polished). Also, include a ship-back label so I can ship you back the Accord Atl pulley that I have in the same box you sent.

Just to add, it was your mistake. I paid for a Full Ultra SS kit for my Acura 2001 CL Type-S. And, I expect to get just that!

I do not want to hear anymore excuses. I had enough with that nonsense.

I hope you understand, and excuse me if I was expressing my feeling at liberty.

You were completely justified in sending that letter. Oh I just checked my credit card balance. The charges are there but now they overcharged me by $2.00 more than what is on my receipt! I know its only $2.00 and i'm not going to waste any time with them bitching about it, but its the whole principle! If anything, they should have given the people who ordered the pullies months ago a little bit of a discount to show that they believe in decent customer service. oh well, what can you do

Maybe... if you have the right tools and the HELMS.... it would be easy. I hold more than 10 fooking weeks to do it in one shot...

I hope the wait was worth it.

There is major difference between the 2 Alt Pulleys.

The Accord Alt Pulley has P/N: 0106310.
The CLS Alt Pulley has P/N: 0106311.

I will snap few pictures.

The Accord part is on the left, the CLS' is on the right:

The Front of the UR Pulleys:

What I can see is that the CLS Alt Pulleyhas a "short neck" for shorter CLS Alt central rod. In addtion, it has a fatter mating surface with CLS Alt central rod.

I would say the Accord Pulley could be bolted on the CLS Alternator but It may come off... It is NOT the right Pulley!

I paid $283 shipped with Accord V6 group buy,, It is now $369 but you can get a %10 so that is $335 from UR, Other site has them for $305.

Less than 24 hours now!!!!

I didn't read this post before I posted in the other thread. So my question is now answered.

Are you going to replace all three pulleys??
Can you take pics of each pulley and post them as well??

Thanks and keep us posted!!!
