Upgraded 02TL -> 03CLS6 How do you drive this thing without getting pulled over!?!??!
Good God, what a car. I got into my first Acura 3 years ago. Neighbours were selling their 340,000km Tl, and I was driving a 94 tempo (daily) at the time. Have a 76SS Nova for fun, but the TL really rounded out my rides. I fell in LOVE with this car. I put 50,000 on it in 3 years. NEVER had a major issue, aside from tie rods, control arms and breaks.
Starter died last week. I was looking for parts, and have always toyed with changing mine to a 6-speed, but donor cars are hard to find here. While looking for parts I came across a 03 CL-S 6 speed. Original Owner, 230,000, no accidents. My heart jumped!
I called the guy, he only wanted 5500! I had to see the car, but was worried someone would steal it out from under neath me. Made an apt for the next day with the owner, and FLEW down the highway in a '92 cabriolet wolfsburg I borrowed from my parents. When I got there it was better than expected. He had mentioned he was the original owner, but this thing is CLEAN. ONLY issues I can tell is it might need a few bearings in the rear, the passenger side spoiler mount was loose, so he epoxied it. Other than that, and maybe a new clutch, she's perfect. The guy even said he wd-40d the nuts under the trunk to stop them from rusting... it shows.
So my first question is. GOOD GOD, How does anyone drive one of these without getting pulled over???? Also, this is everything I've wanted in a car. Its basically a FWD updated version of my Nova, and then some. I now have to sell the 76, and my 2002 TL
Thanks for all the info I've pulled off the site as well. This is awesome!

Welcome to the club! Personally I just get up to the speed limit really fast. Though I did recently get busted going 110mph on the interstate. Fortunately it was by my wife's best friend whom I unknowingly blew by, and not by a more authoritative figure.

It is BLUE. The colour was one of the first things that stood out to me. Not from Barrie, Burlington though, so still connected by a 400 series
I just mean it gets up to speed so quickly. I'm really keeping an eye on my fuel gauge now and trying to learn how to drive er easy. So EASY to drive it hard though!
Any of you guys running the ODB bluetooth thing-a-ma-bob?

I went through the same trouble trying to get my cls6. i drove to queens, ct, and 2 hours to pa to look at a few, i finally got one at a dealer in bridgewater nj with 145,000 miles. i called a dozen places, and they were all gone. a big step up from my 97 accord. and that 93 octane is a killer lol, great car though, i love it, handles better than i thought for such a big heavy car...slight understeer. gl with the car, clean out the egr before you get that surging idle, and find a way to lower idle air temp and your good to go...good luck with your unicorn
