Updated Pics on Real Fogs

Not sure the other thread worked so here's what everyone asked for.....

OK- Nite pic

Closeup- Sorry- it rained today- dirty car

Internal- Bracket detail


Hope this is helpful- the Pilot H3 HyperWhites turned out really good- believe it or not they cast a yellow beam but look white.

could you post directions on how the wiring went? i just ordered myself a set of hella projectors and i dont know if i can just take the 01 lights out and connect the hella fogs

You only remove the plastic cover between the radiator and the bumper.

Personally I wouldn't. I would think you would want to wire them separately with a fuse and switch.

I wanted separate control of the fogs, so I did not use the road lamp wiring; I would get the instruction set from the aftermarket units and follow those. I bought new crimp .250 terminals and splices to manage the wiring, and plugged into the driver side fuse block ACC spade for power (do search). If the Hella's are 100W, this might not work. I upgraded the fuse to 10A, since the wiring is normally speced at 150% or more of fuse rating.

Firewall pass-through is just above the accelerator pedal.

I still have them in the garage with the 18W PIAAs. Keep in mind that the bulb sockets are part of the wire harness, and would not come with the housings. This would make them difficult to put on an 03.
