update: Getting new CL-S

figured i'd update you all...

I got approved for the loan so I am planning on picking up my new Black/Parchment CL-S/Nav on Monday at Park Ave Acura!

The color choice is because its all they have in stock with a nav.

I'm glad it is black actually... I have yet to own a black car... I'm sure I'll hate it in a year, but... I cant seem to keep a car more then a year anyway! lol

The parchment interior I could live without... but beggers cant be choosers right?

Park Ave has been great, they got me a good deal... and they really helped push that loan through!

Wayne G put in a good word for me with sales (thanks Wayne) and I've been dealing with Joe D'Amico... great guy... and has been good help.

My only complaint? I havent gotten a confirmation that I can pick it up on Monday! DAMN! I better be able too cuz I have no choice but to get a car by monday!

Hey, Wayne... while I'm thinking of it... will you please please please make sure a license plate holder DOESNT get drilled into the bumper. That would ruin my day. Hopefully that hasnt happened already since the car just arrived there yesterday. Thanks bud.

Anyway, thanks everyone for all your advice on securing a loan... it helped alot.

And please, if your in the NE and in the market for a new vehicle... or service on your current one. Go see the guys at Park Ave... with the donations... personal support... and the way theyve treated us all... they deserve our business.

Yea yea... blatant publicity stunt! SUE ME! hehe. For real though... their good to us all. Maybe we can petition Acura to create a Precision Platinum Level for them eh? eh? hehe

Glad to hear you are still part of the CL family and didn’t defect to an RSX.

Sorry we couldn’t work something out for you purchasing my car, but you understand my time dilemma on waiting for the 6-Speed.

Better get a coat of ZAINO on that black beauty PRONTO !!!!!

Yea I couldn't go the RSX route. I do like the car... but I just dont get that lovin' feelin for it. Maybe if it came stock with the trimmings... and JDM headlights with xenon, stock, for under 25k. Then ok. But as it is... naaaa. :p

I understand situation with your car completely. I wouldn't sell that beauty before confirming whats next either. Anyway, even after a few months and 6-spd confirmation down the road... youll still be able to fetch 25k for that thing. I swear you store it in a enviro controlled glass container somewhere.

As for the Zaino'n... it aint my strong suit... you need to start a ZAINO'n service! I'd drive to PA and pay a buck or two for the full Z treatment

Hey man, glad to see you've handled your business. Big ups to Wayne and Park Acura. Glad to see even though we all disagree at times, we stick together for the important stuff. You still suck soopa, just not as bad after Monday!

I guess you'll be hitting the mod trail now, if you haven't already planned mods for a car you haven't even taken possession of yet!

Allow me to be the first to say not to touch that thing with anything except the softest cloths out there--ANYTHING less will leae nice swirl marks on your finish (honestly, even using the best stuff leaves minor swirl marks on our cheap ass paint).

Man that pissed me off when they did that to mine. The even said that acura wants it done that way. That is why they include 8 screws in the bag. (4 for each plate) Can you imagine buying an NSX only to find out they tapped screws into your bumper.

And Congrats on the new car. What version of the navi disc did you get? and if it is different than your last one, see if you can find out what is different.

Congrats soopa. It is fantastic to see that Park Avenue helped you out. I dont think any one here would have doubted that they would help out when in need. They have been so helpful here on the board and prove it time and time again . I really wish I was closer and they would have all my business.
IT looks really sweet in black , enjoy it .

Welcome back to the family Soopa. This board will get better and better over time and we're glad you'll be with us.

Black isn't so bad. After over a year, I still like mine. I would pay a buck or two also to get the Z-treatment from Shawn but I'm not going to drive all the way to PA for that. NJ for a Park's second annual meet....yes. Shawn's...? We'll ok, when should I come?

Soopa,

Also go for the clear bra, like I said. If you want to not do the Zaino route and want to know my regime, let me know.

Also, you'll need the wood trim kit. And now your mirrors will match top-to-bottom and your splash guards will match and you can get body side molding...

Soopa

I got my car at Park Avenue and they put on the plates like they should be. If they do it, they'll do it right.

Congrats

Had us all worried there for a second... and you'll get used to the parchment interior, way more luxurious in my opinion.

Soopa did not crash his car. He lost it in a "poker" game.

or, his ownership of the car was contingent on a successful "business relationship." That relationship was terminated and thus the asset needed to be liquidated and his business partner received the car as part of the agreement.

or, something like that...

And Shawn, that Camaro looks GREEN to me..
