I was looking to do an 09 TL intake manifold swap with universal TB. Based on what you see in the link above would all the bolts line up? which adapter would be best to use? I'm thinking this would require a weld job, but I may be wrong. anyone have a universal TB on their CL without throwing codes etc?

It says in the description that it will work with the DBW J series manifolds, which the TL SH-AWD manifold is. You need to work out the IACV, map sensor and TPS still. TPS and map should be relatively easy.

 

What's some good universal TBs? I've seen the ebay ones they are kinda cheap, but I'm a little concerned about quality. I don't want to try to crank my car one day and all a sudden the cheap butterfly on the TB won't open.
