hey matt i just got mrsteve's chip yesterday and he installed it for me and also told me u run ur zex threw the unichip. how does this work??? did u need to get a new plug to fit in the unichip or splice the wires.. just a wondering cause i wanna run n2o in mine and was planning on going with the zex kit.

yea so was steves. he had it dyno tuned that was antha question i have is can u change the maps ur self( i know its not recomended) but steve had some dif parts than i do so im not sure if running the map he has on it now is gunna be a prob or not. im gunna try to take it to a dyno soon and have them tell me if it need to be retuned or not

 

Right now, we aren't able to change the map ourselves.

Mattg has it customized to control the zex through his Unichip. I'm not sure what it all entails, but I'm sure Unichip would have to set it up for you.

 

you need to call Tony or Josh at unichip and tell them what you have and what you want to do. you'll need the secondary timing map and the PnP harness might be different too. they should be able to point you in the right direction.

your best bet would be to get a custom tune

 

custom tune or not, Matts nitrous is integrated into the chip. I'm pretty sure its a completely different PNP harness.
