That would be very awsome, and down right shocking as no one would expect that from your luxery car.

And yes, us auto owners would be very proud in deed.

Helps the tranny too (well, at least it drops the temps through the ATF cooler).

Who's tranny are you thinking of adding to your combo? Any thoughts of late?

You mentioned the fuel-air mix issue. Do you have before after?

He already had a 13.2 before the chip.

I'm gonna predict a 13.0 @ 110

Oh... I didn't know that. Maybe 12.9 even... although 110mph is more along the lines of 340+whp.

Which is close to what the dyno shows. The dyno is flywheel corrected using a 12% loss. The autos usually lose closer to 20% correct. He should be very close to 340 whp. The fact that they flywheel corrected the dyno bothers me a little bit. Either way he is well over 300 whp. Maybe we could compromise around 109 mph? Although don't cars running NOS usually trap higher?

NA, I expect 14.1s@100 MPH!.. CLS is a bitch to launch.

I he sprays in the 2nd and 3rd...13.3 is well achievable. I do not expect 12.9s at all.. you need like allmotor Turbo with 340 WHP!

Guys... He ran 13.2 BEFORE THE CHIP! HE WILL BE FASTER, not slower.

I ran 14.2 @ 98.5 with I/H/E Matt has pulleys and lightweight wheels. I'm expecting at least a 14.0 even at 100 mph. Hopefully a good launch will net a 13.9xx

Absolutely correct. He had a 2.0 60' time on his 13.2 @ 105 run. He is now making more HP and much more torque throughout the rpm band. I'd love to see him repeat his 2.0 60' and run 13.0. Now that I look at it, i doubt he's making enough extra power to bump him up to 110 like I originally said. Maybe 108.

allmotor.... what was your 60' time on your 12.9 run?

a 5 mph gain would seriously be pushing it. i would be stoked to trap @ 107. the data i saw on the dyno computer said 244whp n/a and 301whp w/ n2o.

i've run a 14.1@99 n/a so i think a 14.0 or 13.9 @ 100 is possible, but not real likely on a 90 degree day.

rest assured, i will do my best guys.

I had horrible 60' foot times and 1/8 E.T's during the 12.9 run... think it was 2.2 if I remember correctly. In fact my NA run (13.5 @ 102.7x) yielded a quicker 1/8 mile cuz I had good traction.

If mattg can utilize all that power well... I can see him hit 12's @ 107-108 probably.

In any case no point speculating... we'll know soon enough!

Nashua, Nashua, Nashua ... read the thread my friend it was mentioned twice.

He ran a 13.2 before the chip. If he runs a 13.3 after tuning, I think we have some serious problems here.

And about the NA run .. in the temps Matt is talking about, it will be difficult.. but I dont think 13's are impossible NA. With headers, intake, light wheels, good tires, the unichip and cold dry weather I'm pretty confident I can turn out a 13 second run ... in 35 degree weather with almost no humidity I managed a 14.17 @ 98.5MPH, 2.17 60ft. I am hoping the gain from the unichip can just give me .18 seconds to drop into the 13 second bracket

Is this because of his lightweight wheels and pulleys?? My current best is 14.2 with I/H/E and rubber. 2.1 60' I'm hoping that's enough to dip in to the 13s every now and then.

Very well could be. Although not many people have 2.1 60's or run 14.2 @ 98.5 with I/H/E/Rubber. I'm definitely not the greatest out there. But I have a good idea what i'm doing.

We shall see soon enough.

Guys are your running on street tires or drag tires?

It does make a big difference for the 6-speed. Even in Automatic CLS, BTing to 2000 rpms and then going 100% Full throtlle with no spin at all will yield an advantage of up to 0.3-0.5s over street tires....

From my epxerience, I could spin the Nittos at will anytime on the launch if not controlled.

Nashua.

Street tires for me. 2000 rpm BT then ease in the throttle.

thanks Eric.

i'm waiting to see what scalbert comes up w/ for tranny mods, actually most of the mods i plan to do in the future will be from Hope Systems.

i never saw any a/f ratio numbers for my car. i can get them though.

at least half of my runs on saturday will be n/a.

i've only run street tires on my car. best 60' n/a was a 2.17 on stock wheels w/ Kumho 712 235/40-17.

best 60' on n2o was 2.0 on 18x7" centerline rpm w/ 225/40-18 yokohama parada spec2. kind of blows the theory that you can't hook up on a 7" rim w/ 225 tires all to hell.

wait until i run on 22" slicks. can you say 12.5?

Good news is that the Aftercooler is on now, everything so good so far. So I think I'll track it too on Saturday. But only granny launchs for me though.. :o
