well just to update everyone i have a 6speed with the supercharger and was one of the first to get one.I now have 60,000 miles on the blower now after 3 years and i still love it.I want to say hello to scalbert,smitty,allmotor and its good to be back on the board!!!!!

Eric's by-pass valve on his blower got snapped off by his fat neighbor who leaned on it..so he is busy trying to put the new by-pass on.

I am sure he will call me to try and help him fix his car over the phone..

Just FYI, thechnically the bypass being broken would normally not affect power output. It will affect fuel economy and noise level though. It defaults closed so no reason for it to affect performance.

 

yea but steve dont you need the bypass to relieve the extra pressure in the intake manifold.i was told it could hurt the rings and put strain on the motor

 

No, the bypass does not releive boost, it recirculates it allowing the engine to consume it.
