scooter,
I'm generally with you on most issue. However, I will have to disagree with the seatbelt pads. If a car like the M3 or NSX doesn't have them, then I think we can forgo them on the CLS. However, if you like them, go for it buddy!!!!!

I have them in my car and they look fine. They are black leather-like looking. It has a silver/red line running down the side and has TypeS about an inch long on the pad.

I have 1. Can't stand them, but it's a must in my car bacuse the seatbelt doesn't rest comfortably on my sholder. It's more on my neck, which begins to hurt me. I use the 1 drivers side. Can't believe the seatbelt is not hight adjustable.

mang...I have enough problems with my selt belt not retracting, I think an additional pad would completely render the retraction device useless.

Although, they're suprising functional, especially if you get in an accident. Keeps the neck/shoulder area from getting seat belt burns.

are these it?

type s pads from acp.com

They don't look like leather, more of a foam type material
