Type S Leather is Stretching??

Hi - I have noticed that my perforated leather passenger seat seems to be pulling or stretching around the seams - it is ebony and around the stitching it is looking a bit white and seems to be pulling. Anyone had this??

Now, I have a 40 lb. dog who had been on the seat a few times on a blanket before I noticed the stretching. Could this have done it?? (I now have a pillow for him to sit on on the seat to distribute the weight from his paws when he stands on the seat.) It seems like he should not have made the leather pull - could it be a defect?

Thanks for any help, Rustito, dog, and Aegean Blue Type S

my driverside seat had streach marks but I used some Zymol leather cleaner and conditioner and it looks much better afterwards.

Thanks for the info. I have Zaino leather conditioner and I think I'll try that.

I recall reading about which leather conditioners were best for perforated - so if you search this you will bring up some info. I know Zaino was recommended and since I was getting their car polish products I went with the leather conditioner also but haven't used it yet. I remember some talk about conditioner getting into the holes in the perforated leather but I can't remember which brand did that. Better check it out first.
