type S emblem STOLEN!!!!!!!!!!!

My type S emblem was stolen, I searched and found out they are about $30. I was wondering how many people have had theirs stolen, because if i buy another one and if someone steals it, you will see someone draggin their BLOODY STUMPS because i will cut off their leggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone had theirs fallen off or was it stolen??????????????

Not hard at all. Using mint flavored Dental Floss and gently work it in between the letters trying to be removed and the car. Do do until they come completely off. Remove the excess with Goo-Gone.

Use a hairdryer to heat up the adhesive, then use the dental floss to remove the emblem. Have plenty of clean cloths on hand to really go at it with the goo-gone.

Be careful, as your car is black, and there may be some shadowing that will be more evident on a dark car.

I've never had mine stolen. Might have something to do with the fact that i dont have a Type-S.

Stolen? That is weak. What is the fuckin' point? You'll end up seing it on some stupid riced out Civic or something. Just buy another one. I am not a fan of the debadged look but if you do decide to do it then I would just take the 3.2CL off (since the Type s is alredy gone). I'd leave the ACURA. But personally I like the car with the badges on it.

I'd rather keep the emblems on and worry about them getting stolen then debage it.

I think I'll go steal a few off of some local Integras and Civics just to be on the safe side.

Got mine stolen the SECOND DAY I HAD MY CAR!!! Fucking college!

Didnt want to just show "3.2" so I took that off too...considering taking off the "ACURA" lettering too.

if you heat them up you don't even need dental floss. i've debadged 2 cl-s just pulling the emblems off w/ my fingers.

I had the GT-S stolen from my last car ('00 Celica) and they ripped it off with a screwdriver! I had scratch marks to the metal! OUCH!

I will never go back to that parking lot with my CL-S ever!

The Celica's emblem was low enough on the car to hide the scratches with touch-up, but how horrible would that look be on a CL?

I would love to get a hold of the a-hole that ripped me off.

And yes, I figured it ended up on a Corolla or Echo somewhere out there in the 'hood.

I find it kind of ironic how we take OFF our Type-S emblems for various reasons, including thwarting thieves and there are those people out there dying to rip ours off.

It's like I have those people who buy 325i's and 3.0L X5s and then take it off to replace it with 330i, M3, or 4.4L.

Like who are you trying to fool? Yourself?

'cuz I don't think that model even CAME with those shitty wheels & tires!

And since Honda doesn't make a Type-S anything, you look like a MO-ron!
