If I had a boosted Max, I might be able to run twelves but I'd need a box of MAF sensors on the side for when mine blows. :P
Allmotor, you GOTTA do a video next bro. Congrats.

Allmotor those are some sweet times and you deserve all the props you are getting, you had the audacity to pioneer the turbo CL-S and it has finally paid dividends. Great work.

Is this guy in AZ? If not, there's someone else out here with a similar project.

The damn tech guy looked into my hood, then looks at me and says, "I see its pretty much a stock car... have fun, just don't line up against a chevy!"

Do you know why there is an O2 sensor before AND after the cat?
If you removed your cat, the MIL should have illuminated once you were in closed-loop.
Don't make me raise the BS flag........

The reason for the two O2 sensors it to determine the efficiency of the catalytic convertor. The MIL will not illuminate immediateley. It takes more than one warm-up period for it to come on. The DTC is P0420. When I mentioned stock exhaust... it means that stock catalytic convertor as well. Of course I got the DTC while driving around without the cat.
What are you getting at?

By comparing the cycling of the HO2S1 to the HO2S2 the ECU can determine how well the catalytic converter is working. It looks for a lower frequency cycle along with less varying amplitude. Because the HO2S2 is not used for fueling control its DTC is much slower to be enabled. It takes several warm up cycles before the DTC is set for the HO2S2.

But it does not take several warm up cycles to illuminate the MIL if there is no difference between the 1st and 2nd oxygen cycles. It will throw a code as soon as closed-loop is achieved.
This can easily be proven with a scan tool. I've done it myself.

Tom2: This might clarify your concerns:
http://www.obdii.com/dtctypes.html
"When an OBDII failure is detected, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) lights and remains on even if the condition is intermittent. However, some DTCs have two-trip logic, which means the fault must be recognized on two consecutive trips before the DTC sets and the MIL lights. Acura and Honda use three-trip logic for some DTCs, so the conditions must occur on three consecutive trips before the code sets. Also, if the fault does not recur within three or more sequential drive cycles after a DTC is set, the PCM may switch off the MIL. However, the DTC will remain in PCM memory until it is cleared. "
