turbo choices

I have a question for those who are boosted. I am in the middle of building a little something...

Is the GT30 or GT35r a better choice for the type S? I don't want the torque to come on too early since we are dealing with FWD, but at the same time too much turbo lag sucks. I could build up the engine to a 3.5, but I am worried about too high of a compression.

Thoughts?

3.5 turbo with CL-S compression would be great. Just don't up it to RL compression. Also, don't bore it out to 3.7 obviously.

Ive been boosted for a while now on the j-series. Ive never been faced in a situation where I felt like my car had any lag at all. Power comes on fast, strong and has a linear delivery.

Love my boost.

Ps- Ive been boosted on both the 3.5 and (currently) the 3.7. I see no reason whatsoever to NOT go 3.7 and run FI.

The TL is a beast! I had no idea that the J series was like that. The 3.7 should put out higher numbers than this and I can't wait to see it.

I don't think I will build my engine immediately and stay safe with the boost for now, but that is really inspiring. I'm thinking about just getting close to 400whp and leave it alone for reliability... for right now.

I just finished a remote turbo mount manifold/exhaust set up and all my oil lines etc... similar to what STS would put out. It isn't a DD anymore so it's cool. The hard part is out of the way.... time to start getting everything else together.

I will be honest.. I built the set up like a boss... (meaning I paid someone else to do it.) This is his pics on his accord. It is the same as our CL's underneath.

I like that rear mount setup a lot. Please post a nice thread when you're done!
