Trying to lower the car, need suggestions

I am afraid that i might not be able to lower my car because of my wheel offset and my wide tires. The offset for the wheels are 42 and the tires are 235//40/18. I am afraid that if i do lower the car, and if there are people seating in the back, i might end up rubbing. Is there anyone out there who has wheels of offset 42 with 235/40/18's and have their car lowed without having any problems. If so what type of springs do you have?

ive got 235/35/19....lowered with tein ss suspension....rubbed like a biatch, with +45.....even with nobody sittin in the back!....the car was probly lowered a lil over 2in in the rear...but i tell u, the best way is to just get tha damn fenders rolled....i did it and its great now, and u can go as low as u want without worrying about rubbing!
