Trying to Decide My Order of Mods, Advice Needed
I have an '03 CL Type-S 6MT and you guys can see the majority of my mods in my signature. What I'm trying to decide is what to do next. I am dropped on Tein S-Tech springs with the stock struts, and they're about to go. The ride SUCKS, I've put about 15K miles on the stock shocks and they're hurting.
So I was thinking about doing some shocks and just calling it a day, but then the Tein Basic coilovers grabbed my attention. For $600-650 you can have a fully adjustable setup, that will handle much better than just replacing the shocks. So I was thinking a more aggressive (lower) stance was the way to go.
But now that I'm rethinking it, maybe I should just save my money, throw on some cheaper shocks like Tokico blues or something, and maybe at the same time with the extra cash order some Magnaflow mufflers, or headers, etc.
What do you guys think?
My mods to be done in the next few months:
- timing belt/water pump
- shocks
- Magnaflow mufflers
- double din navigation
- possibly sway bars
- headers/pulleys - probably with timing belt/water pump
Thanks guys!

Unless you need to be adjustable I see no point in coil overs. Not to mention to adjust the rear, the back seat needs to come out. Unless you mod the rear deck with holes.
Anyone I know with coil overs, got them for the "cool & performance" factor & regret getting them cause they are pointless on regular streets, & hard to adjust.
I'm on my 2nd set of T blues & have not had any problem, & am satisfied with the ride.
