I like having one but if I did it again I would shop around for other brands (weathertech etc) since I am not completely satisfied with the thickness of the Acura tray.

i agree, i got it too and am not too satisfied because i make sure i don't carry a lot of 'dirty' stuff in the trunk.

i'd go with one of those trunk mats at autocarparts instead. they add a nice touch and somewhat protect the "felt" or whatever is in the trunk.

but if you were thinking about getting the all-weather floormats, i have a totally opposite opinion on those, especially if you live in wetter/muddier areas.

I've got the trunck tray.

I was lucky though and got it as part of a free package that my dealer gave me (Type S floor mats & Truck Tray).

I think it's worth it if you are carrying anything thats dirty/dusty/messy. It does however make the trunk net worthless since you can't really hook it up to the floor clips with it in. It is also easy to take out so if you don't need it, just pull it out and store it.

YEs, YES, YES ! Don't be a tight wad ! I took my cats to the Vet. In the trunk in the carry cases. Well on the way home, both were freaked out and both took pisses in the carry box and it leaked out and THANK GOD I BOUGHT THAT ALMIGHTY EXPENSIVE TRUNK COVER ! Think about the mess I would have had, without that EXPENSIVE trunk liner !

WORTH EVERY DIME !

I have it and love it... no messes ever in the trunk and I never have to vacuum it...

I did get it for free from the dealer, along with the mudflaps, mats, and wheel locks...

Get it free from your dealership: You'll love it.
Pay for it as part of your car loan: You'll like it.
Buy it 6 weeks later $90 out of your pocket: You might not like it.

Same trunk tray.

Absolutely no use for it whatsoever. But...... if I want to haul stuff, I get out the "beater" my trusty 91 Ford Exploder!

On the way home from the supermarket the other day, my trunk was loaded down with several containers of liquid, one of these was a gallon of milk. In route to my house I was forced to make several abrupt and jolting corrections in my tragectory to avoid a Buick piloted by Captain Whitetrash himself. Shortly after it hit me how easily the plastic pop-tops come off the jugs of milk, and I worried the whole rest of the way if my trunk was now filling with 2%. I'm not sure if you have ever spilled milk inside a car before, but those who have know how bad it smells and how difficult is is to remove. It's not cat piss, though it's odor ranks right up there.

I'm not sure if $90 is worth the slate of plastic, but peace of mind is another story. I'd say go for it, even if you never need it -it cleans up the look of the trunk. I don't have one, and wish I did at times.

The truck tray was a throw-in from the dealer. It's made from pretty hokey material, but it will save your trunk from any spills and un-necessary wear. But if I had to buy a trunk tray, I would've purchased the all-weather type mat, not the cheap Acura one.
