Trunk button stopped working all of a sudden. Did anyone else have the problem? The remote works fine with the trunk therefore I exclude the possibility of the trunk lock mechanism. I guess it's just the button acting up...

any suggestions?

 

check the wire plug connection to the switch, they sometimes come disconnected from opening and closing the door!

 

i'm sure you've already checked this, but make sure the switch in your glove compartment didn't accidentally get switched to off.

 

It's very common for the override switch in the glove box to get switched unknowingly.

 

damn!!!! my friend was just showing me that switch couple days ago... cause I didn't know it was there I was kinda surprised but I thought that it was a trunk light switch for some reason. So he probably played with it and turned it off. I am gonna go check right now! I'm 99% sure that's the problem. Thanks for help
