Is it true that when the M6 burns out they are stuck in the housing because a bubble appears on the bulb? Has anyone taken the bulb out w/o having the bulb drop into the housing?

 

People have reported great difficulty in getting burned out M6's out of the housing hole. I am waiting for some warmer weather to see if mine will come out clean or not (they burned out a couple of weeks ago).

 

yep...it warped on me and i was not able to get them out. best thing to do is take the housing out from the front. there's a lil screw that u can get to if u look sideways. just pop out the housing and break the bulb inside the housing. then just shake the lil pieces out.
