trouble starting car up in cold weather
The other day when it was cold outside, it took two tries before my car started up. The first time I turned the key and I let it try for 4 to 5 seconds. Then the second try it started up after 3 seconds.
Have you guys seen this problem before? Do you know why this is happening? |
There might be a Service Bulletin on this problem take to the dealer...

couple things i do that cause me NO problems, and i live on Long Island where it's cold enough in the winter...
1. my driveway is inclined, so i park facing down, thus allowing more mixture upon startup 2. even tho we got the gas pumper in the engine thingy, i still pump the gas 2 or 3 times just prior to starting...no need to wait a few seconds to let the gas to pump in no problems after 1 whole winter and the start of another...<knocking on wood> :D |
