Man, that is the suck!

What a terrible way to find your car! Have you gotten an estimate on the damage?

Still waiting to hear back from insurance. I think it's a done deal though. Too much structural damage to the passenger compartment. My TL is only 3 months old and there wer a few other cars involved. It could have been worse and wiped out both our cars. Gotta keep positive. Still sucks though

Heavy rains saturated the ground, combined with 60MPH winds and the fact that the Eucalyptus trees were overgrown and characteristically have very shallow roots. 4 trees came down in our condo complex and many others around the area.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. I was pissed because a rock just cracked my windshield, but that is pretty weak compared to your damage.

So the Condo complex's insurance should cover your losses... their overgrown tree..

It's always sad to see a CL damaged (especially a SMR one, since I drive the same color).

I might work out better for you if it's totaled. It's probably worth more on paper then what a dealer or private seller would pay for it.

Really? You would work out better for him if it's totalled?

But he's right, try to get it a totalled status.

Nice. So on the snow, you either pimp a board that's called "M3" or "EW."

Sorry to hear about the car.

We had a tree fall in our front yard too, landed RIGHT in between our CL-S and our previa. The tree clipped the front end of our previa though.

Do you live in old Scripps area? I live just up the road in Legacy.

Dang man that’s nuts.

Glad to hear no one was hurt and i hope you get a fair settlement if they deem it to be totaled.

Ironically, I think I found a relatively inexpensive replacement ride for your CL-S:

Sorry to hear about your predicament. I had a similar incident, only that I was driving and lucky to be alive. I had a hydroplane accident on I-380 2 days before Christmas. I spun out several times hitting another car and I ended up hitting a lightpole broadside. I walked away only with a bad cut on my head from the moonroof accordianing inside the car. I seem to can't post the attachment of a pic of the car though.
