tranny questions

wow i've been gone a while, i just came back and still there are so many topics about the transmission. This is going to sound reaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy stupid, but i'll ask anyways. How can you tell when a transmission is slipping? Is that when the car doesn't want to start? Also, I discovered some condensation in my headlights the other day so i'm going back to get them fixed under warranty. Should I have the dealer check my transmission and actuator as well, since those seem to be the most common problems. Thanks for any help. O ya...i like killed a curb yesterday so to speak, would that affect my alignment? Also, has any one here noticed that the steering wheels tend to pull to the right? Mine's been like that since the first day I got my car....=/

I think tranny problem is blow out of proportion. There is no need to ask a dealer to check your transmission if you dont expirence any problems.
You ask "how can you know when your tranny is dead". Trust me, - you'll know when its not working the way it should.

I thought I was the only one going throught that. I had mine serviced at Radly Acura twice about that. My freaking steering wheel looks off center. I AVOID all potholes and dips and anything else and STILL my car pulls to the right. I am going to Tischer Acura Nissan Monday to finally end this $hi....The service manager said he will fix it free this time.

"Killing a curb" can be definitely hazardous to your alignment. Since I got my car re-aligned (after having it lowered), it tracks straight as an arrow, and I barely have to touch the steering wheel. Pay the $50-$70 to get your car aligned and they can determine if your front-end was damaged by your close encounter of the curb-side.
