Tranny Problem with 98 CL3.0?

Tranny Problem with 98 CL3.0?
My 98 Acura CL3.0P has 90k miles on it. It just started doing this about a wk ago...
When the car is in Park or Neutral, the RPMS go from 1x to 3x, up and down like I am pressing and releasing the accelerator... Also, when the car was in Drive, it would idle at 20mph. It did that for about 5 days, then it just stopped doing that and my Engine light went on... So now my engine light is on but it's driving normally... I have a partial warranty to cover the engine/tranny so I was told to bring it down to the dealership...
Anyone have any ideas what the problem is here?
