Tranny getting Replaced and new rotors too!
As the subject says...I just got a call from my dealer saying they will order a new transmission for me (although it is on backorder) 
The other good news is that they are replacing the rotors after machining them twice... (WOO HOO!)

I've already been waiting now for 17 days for my "new" transmission to come in. They still have no idea how much longer it will be. And worst of all, I'm driving a Ford Escort loaner right now. I'm thinking it'll probably be about another month until my transmission comes in.

Sorry to hear of your lost tranny woes! Another one bites the dust! Even though people on forum here say only 1-2% tranny failures, sure seems very bad to me. A friends 99'Honda V-6 just blew its tranny. I asked Acura service what the difference in these trans was and he basically waltzed around the question so as my experience, they know diddly squat! Goodluck my friend!

just to inform everyone knows its all remanufactured
although dealerships say its new
it says in the manual that they would only give remanufactured
to have futher proof
i called acura main offfices they all say never give out new transmission

Bro I'm detailin my car right now cause its over due, stuipid as it may sound... I've got to take it to the dealer for a new tranny. I know that the trannies are in back order, and I don't want to drive around in something like a Ford Escort. Frankly I think that they sould match the loaner with something comparable to the CLS, like mabey a TLS, or a Type-R, or even a GSR. Something other than a fuckin Ford Escort. And I got work tomm.

Oh one more thing I've checked my rotors and it seems that I need them recut. Do u think that they'll replace them instead?
