Tranny Filter
I posted this on the TL forum too... hope it's not a problem.
Has anyone here tried changing the Automatic Tranny Filter on a second gen CL or CL-S? Will that help with the Tranny issues on our vehicles?
I know Acura says there is no servicible filter, but there is. I have an Odyssey as well and on both vehicles, there is an ATF filter about 4 inches down (toward the front of vehicle) and about 1 to 2 inches to the right of the ATF filler bolt. It's a black cylinder.
Both Honda and Acura service departments either intentionally deny its existence or they are completely ignorant of the fact that there is one. It is an orderable part.
I'm just wondering if it's worth the effort.
