Trail Blazer radar detector problem found
Okay my manger went to chevy to look at the trail blazers and he was just talking about how they got back up sensors in the bumper like the bmw and mercesdes but uses LASER to calculate the distance between the bumper and another object.
Instantly I new what was setting your V1's off. its that POS rear object detecting laser thing. I guess chevy made it so it never turns off or something so when you get REAL CLOSE to a chevy blazer your laser sensor will go off.
Problem found.

I think the topic should say PROBLEM FOUND, not PROBLEM SOLVED.
I still wonder what effect this may have on a Police unit using LASER during a “Safety Blitz”.
Suppose you are being clocked via LASER from ahead and an oncoming Trailblazer passes you in the other direction.
As he is “showing his ASS” to the cop he is also laving a trail of LASER beams in his wake which may produce a false reading on the police unit.
It may help you or more likely it may HURT.

Man, its just the beginning...
Chrysler is developing a "night vision" system for their cars... it is like that system from cadillac... but unlike the cadillac system which insists an object must be hotter then its surroundings to see it... the Chrysler system will illuminate objects in front of the car with lasers in the headlights.
So... your V1 is going to go off everytime a Jeep Grand Cherokee drives by sounds like fun dont it?

That's going to affect everyone's laser sensors.
I was behind a new blazer, no peep from my V1. Is the bumper thing an option or standard equipment?
May also depend on where the detector is located, low on the dash may pick it up, high on the windshield maybe not?
