Trading my '94 Z28 in for a '99 Galant

Looks like I'll be trading my Camaro in for a Galant instead of a CLS. Wit the condition my Z28 is in it would be better to trade it in for something cheaper then get what I really want next year. I'll post pics on my Camaro later. I had a lil fender bender in it last year that I never got fixed.

I sold my 99 Camaro SS and got a 2001 Galant LS. That was a HUGE mistake. The Galant is a nice car but it was so uncomfortable I ended up trading it in for the CL-S within 4 months. There is absolutly no leg room in that Galant. I wish I still had my SS

Really? I'm about 6'2 and room is a issue. My car has a dent in the back that I'm not going to fix so my trade in Value isnt going to be that great.

Yeah, if I were you, I would rethink the Galant. I am 6'3" and after sitting in the car for 20 minutes, my knee would start to lock up on me. It was because my right leg had to rest to the right of the steering wheel and my knee had to twist to reach the pedal. I didn't notice it for the first month or so and then I started to have pretty bad knee problems. One time my knee locked up so bad I almost couldn't get to the brakes in time and almost got into an accident. Anyways, I decided to trade it in and take the cash hit pretty hard.

The CL-S is better, but still a bit cramped. I don't understand why foreign automakers have tilt steering in their cars that only tilt 1 inch.

Anyways, the trade in isn't very good on the Galant either since some companies use it as a rental car and they get a lot of them for sale after the rental companies get rid of them. It would be my suggestion to go and rent one for a week or so and drive it alot. See if it hurts your knee or legs at all.

Good luck.
