trade in value?

anyone traded their 2001 in yet? especially anyone who didn't trade in for another Acura. I was wondering what you got for it...
I was offered 21k for my 2001 with 22k on her. Just curious to see what others have gotten.... (I didn't make the deal yet, I'm still negotiatiing...)

Ciggy, all those items you list that are New, does that mean the originals broke already?? I know about the trans, but the window motors etc. Is this a Hyundai or Honda? Unheard of on a Honda or any quality import. I'd be so frustrated with that if that's what happened? Hopefully I'm wrong. Looking at the 03 with 6.

No, you understood my signature correctly.

However you can add new brake rotors in too. As they replaced mine at 12k miles. And the moon roof started leaking 3 weeks ago!

It's very unfortunate I have had all of these problems. Even with the hit I know I'm taking, I'm going to get rid of the car... I wanted something to keep for 5 years. This thing just keeps falling apart. Needless to say I'm not very happy.

I don't know what other cars you are looking at. but besides the problems I have... The CL-S could be manufactured better. If your choice is between a BMW and a CL-S get the BMW. Don't let anyone try and tell you the fit and finish is just as good on the Acura. It's not. However all cars have their fare share of problems... Good luck with your purchasing decision. Take a good look at th CLS spend 30 minutes inside pulling/pushing checking. And do the same with whatever you are going to purchase is my suggestion. Also don't read the "Consumer Reports" they claim the CLS has a great transmission, and great interior quality. Which I'd think is great if I had never read anything on here.

But hey what other 260/hp Navi car can you get for $32k?
They have to save money somewhere to meet that price range!

Keep your eye out for a Nissan 350z!

If your trying to really save $, it's going to be hard to pass up. But if you looking for better build quality you can do better for 5-7k more... To me its worth it... Especially in the trade in value!! I'm going to get hammered!

My buddys 2001 330i has only lost 5-6K where as my CLS has lost almost 14! (if i trade it in at 21k)

Again good luck, I hope you love whatever it is you get!
