IMO, beware of the 5.2L engine. I have had many a friends and family who have had that engine in their Grand Cherokees and the like, and it has been nothing but a headache. Is it possible to find a Ram with the 4.7L engine? Much better engine. Better gas mileage, more power and more reliable...
Otherwise, it's a great truck. Good luck!

The 4.7 really hasn't be around long enough to get accurate reliability info. Four years I believe. However, it is a more efficient engine thant the 5.2( better gas, more power) but lower torque.
BTW, I have often heard that the original 318 was help designed by John Deere. Anybody ever heard of this?
Just my opinion.
I'm not surprised!!! As soon as you buy the car and drive it off the lot (so basically your speedometer is 0 milage), you just lost 30% of the value you purchased with. That is a BRAND NEW car you just bought two seconds ago....for a 1 year old car, that's no big surprise.
