Trade In

I was wondering how trading in cars work. I have a 1997 3.0CL but i really like the new CLS. I havent paid off my current car yet would it be possible to trade mine in for a CLS? or would my payments be sky high? I guess i just need to know hgow it works.

thanks

you're always better off selling your car as compared to trading it in.

Do you have any mods in the GTO??? Ii depends on how much you own on the car and what its worth. If you own more then what the car is worth then they tack on the amount. If you own less then what the car is worth, that is EQUITY and is considered a down payment.
For instance if you owe $10k and the car is worth $15k the you have $5k in equity ($5k down payment)
or
If you owe $15k and the car is worth $10k then you'll add $5k to the CLS.
Hope you understood my screwed up help

Car your salesman. I'm sure he'll be more than happy to get you into a '01 CLS.

well i still owe like 16k ive only ha dit about a year its my first car and i didnt do too much research(STUPID) and i didnt really get the greatest deal probably. But last time i checked blue book was still like between 16k-17k.

Havent done too much to the GTO yet. Its a work project. My favorite car ever. I bought it a couple months ago for 4k and if you know GTOs thgat extremly cheap for the condition its in. its got about 385 horses now. but i will be putting in new cam, crank, holly carb, heads, kn air, flowmasters, and many others. such a fun car to drive.

might have to look into the CLS. But i'll probably pay more off on my car now so i have a better DP because i acnt have too high of payments I aint no rich mofo like you all. hehe.

My pet peeve when peeps shield where they are located....

Goto Kelly Blue Book

Find the wholesale for your car. That is the low that the dealer will offer you.

Find the price of the new car but we all know that if you can find a 01, that they will deal.

Bargain from there. I sat for 2 hours dicking with the dealer only to leave. Then called back the next day and continue to dick with them. Finally got the deal I was happy with.

Be prepared to work for a deal.

If you posted where you were located, you could get someone in your area that could recommend a salesman that could help.
