Traction Bar

anybody know of any company that makes traction bars for our CL

Just curious ... but why would you want traction bars on the CL? Where would you install them? Used them in the 70's to reduce wheel hop on RWD muscle cars but I certainly never experienced that on the FWD CL. Again, just curious.

Same idea, to reduce wheel hop. You may not have to many problems with it, but when you start going FI (which I believe he is) wheel hop becomse a problem.

And to answer the question, no, there are no traction bars out there for our car. Scalbert was going to devolop some, but he sold his car. You may want to talk to him and see if he has something you could use.

edit: look in this thread, here they are talking about polyureathane bushings and motor mounts and what not. Still to help with wheel hop. Not sure who is doing the install and what not. You may want to contact 02AV6.

You learn something everyday ... no ... my CL did not have FI.

Well, for our cars at least. Any time when you put down a lot of power it can be a problem. I fortunately don't experience such problems im my CL-P(imp)
