Track Times!

April 18th 2003

Great lakes dragway, union grove wisc

TEMP: 46 degrees
humidity: 87%

race between meand johnytype s(modded auto CLS)

me:

R/T... 534
60'... 2.417
330...
1/8... 9.746
MPH... 74.71
1000...
1/4mile... 14.987
MPH... 94.30

Johnytypes

R/T... .918
60'... 2.304
330... 000
1/8.... 9.568
MPH... 75.60
1000... 12.392
1/4... 14.761
MPH... 95.59

Johny's car was not running well. According to him, it has been running shitty since it was last worked on! NO DOUBT IN MY MIND, that he would have layed the smack down on my ass with a 14.2 if not for his problems!

MY best run of the nite:

R/T... 1.100
60'... 2.349
330... .000
1/8... 9.687
MPH... 74.63
1000... 12.524
1/4... 14.913
MPH... 95.08

the two supercharged 6th GEN accords ran 14.8's or less. mostly 14.9's. they were having major traction problems(because of the cold???). They ran a 14.6 @ 99mph the other night with 80 degree temps!

fastest car of the night, and indeed the HIGHLIGHT of the evening was a jet engined car, that ran a 7!!!!!!!

That was exactly the way Tool462 described the night to me.
With the amount of power he has off the line, traction and control issues can be a problem.
With an icebox, I ran a 15.002 and a 15.034 the night Tool ran his 14.67's.
I think torqueaholic was running 15.2's.
My CL would have easily run 14.7's tonight!
I'm sorry I couldn't make it but hopefully I'll have my headers the next time you see me.
Tool is gonna have some problems with my CL soon!

tool, tell johny, and your other friend, that since it rained, your reciept has now become a "rain-check", and drag racing is on the house the next time you come!!

you sir, have to beat my 14.7 @ 97mph time, in any temperature with your cls(icebox), before you have bragging rights!
