Track times 09/19/03

had shitty times

traction sucked, i mostly think its my shitty michelins but alot of people at the track were saying the track wasnt good
how often are they suposed to spray vht?

best run was a 14.49 off a 2.29 60'

all my other 60 foots were high 2.3's and 2.4's

i cant go back to the track again w/ these tires, i even dropped the front to 18psi and i still couldnt hook up, i dunno if it was the track or just my tires, i would spin all of 1st most of the time

BUT on a postive note i nailed my 2nd .500 r/t

naw my highest trap was 97, most of them in 96's

part of the problem is my shitty tires but when it all comes down to it milan is a shit hole for traction

Yeah I agree that Milan sucks ass when they don't prep it. Last time I went it was nice & cool, but I didn't see them spray down VHT once. My best 60' was like 2.35, and at Norwalk this spring I was consistent low low low 2.0's. My mph was a little better due to spinning and the weather I'm sure, but my best ET was like 14.6 I was spinning pretty bad on the 1-2 shift also.

My girl wants to take her Maxima again to the tarck before it gets too cold so she can get some 14's out of it, but I don't want to Milan anymore. :o Metro Detroit is in dire need of a decent track.

A little over 2 hours if you speed moderately (~85mph). I went to Milan today because my girl wanted to run her Max again, and I cut a couple 2.24 60's, so traction seemed pretty damn decent. I saw them more than a couple times putting down VHT, and it seemed like everyone was hooking up pretty good. I think it helps alot to go when the big tire guys are there.

good times man... my 60's were around the same range of 2.3 and 2.4 before too... hopefully with my new tires I'll do better.

I would not be satisfied till I hit 14.0 flat and trap at 100 MPH.
Yeah, NA please!

I am Still looking for 17 lbs 18x7.5 rims with 235/40/18 ES100 and that elusive Unichip mod.
