Everyone seems to have forgotten the most important factor here, driver skill. Tommyguy2 if you are having trouble breaking 15s then maybe you should learn how to drive. Why not trade your CL in for a G35 since you are so unhappy?

Yes, but it still depends on the weather. at like 40 degrees or below with low temperatures, yes, no problem. But a 75 shot on a july day in north american won't yeild a mid 13, on an auto cls with i/h/p.

yes, he did do a best of 13.8. he didn't report his times off the bottle. in general for every ten shot of nos, you gain a tenth in the 1/4mile. using that math, he wasn't running a 14.2 off the bottle. more like a high 14.

mag times are not sae corrected, i.e, they do not report temps, humidity, or a break down of their times. They use stupid devices, like gtech pro to gestimate 1/4mile times. A stock cls in the middle of summer would be lucky to see 15.1

oh yes, it does. it just depends on the outside temperatures/humidity. are we talking fall(40 degrees or below w/ low humidity), or summer(80 degrees with high humidity) do you expect a cls to run a 14.5 on both occasions? if so, your silly.

as for those blanket numbers, see my above post. My actuator is fine. Here is a link to my thread showing my dyno numbers:

don't even sweat the exact numbers son, its summer. aint no auto cls with i/h/p running 14.2.

I'm not the only one who called nitrous on this thread. the zex dude put your estimate at a 50 shot, based on his experience with juice, and trust me he has plenty Theres nothing wrong with using juice, if thats your thing. its modding a car, using nitrous, then comming on the internet to act as if your times were from the mods only, that pisses people off. There are plenty of these types on every car forum. Your not the first. my almost stock this and that ran a..........

Why do you care so much? If he has NoS then so be it. Several people on this board have gotten great times and you just sound like some whiney kid. Don't take it out on another member because you can't break 14.8 with all of your mods.

Dude, have you skipped your medication lately ? That's the instruction sheet fot the thermoblok spacers ! I was planning to do a DIY for this, but as I went through the install I realized I had not taken enough pics to make it worthwhile. (you can see the box in the corner of the pic I think....)

I think everybody realised that I'm not lying so that's all that matters to me. As I said many factors could explain those times, but it's not nitrous. What about all those threads I listed ? Did you check them out carefully ?

ok , bye now

Icing the intake I think made your runs so great. Col intake mani = at least .2 seconds faster in the 1/4.

and jsut for the record. altitude alone plays a HUGE part in power output of an NA car. The b est time I can run up here in dever is 16 flat, maybe high 15s on a cold day. At sea level I could run high 14's low 15's.

Tons of factors in 1/4 mile times tommyguy, so just bcause you can't get your car to do that doesn't mean that someone else can't.

budddy 1/2 of those times are heavily modified SIX SPEEDS!! the others are autos, running in the fall, up in canada!!! I never said, an auto can't do a 14.2, it just has to be very cold out. Like, 40 degrees or colder. in the dead of summer with an 88% humidity, you'd have to be using nitrous. NAWS BOY!

My '03 CL-S auto did a 14.42 @ 101 N/A with I/H/P and SSR Comp wheels on street tires with temps in the 70's. I backed that up with a 14.43 the same day. I believe the guy and everyone else should too.

I believe banana's times are correct. I think the main factor is the wheels. Those are some light wheels. many of you are probably running with some heavy ass wheels. Plus the driver factor. I think his shifts were right on the money. with Nos or a 3.5 conversion the time should be a good mid to high 13s.

There is nothing wrong with his times, many people have run low 14's in there auto's with a few bolt ons. I myself ran a 14.3 and a best trap speed of 101.3 with just icebox and headers. Sure weather is a great factor but even in the hottest days i ran 14.4-14.5 @98.XX with the same setup, YES even up here in Canada
