Track Day: Times Inside (Best Numbers EVAR!)

Low humidity but still 80 degrees! Although I beat my best ET by more than a tenth! and raised my MPH by 0.8 Also I had 10 consecutive 2.1 60's

It was a good day. I've learned it is going to take more than 100 MPH to hit 13.9. If it had been 40 degrees out instead of 80 I would have hit it today.

I wonder what Matt's times from today are?

Times:

Very nice

Usually the track gets more slippery when it gets cool out, so I'm sure your mph would have been better if it was cooler but your 60' may have gone up a bit. Either way those are nice numbers.

This may be true, a colder track might yield slower 60' foot times due to cold asphalt... but I can heat cycle the Conti's pretty well... too bad I won't be N/A in November... i'm sure I could hit 13.9 then. The blower goes on end of the month...

John

Unichip added an 5-12 whp and torque throughout the powerband.

Lots of info about it... pros and cons.

I'm impressed you dyno'd that high. What was the temperature?

Oh and btw, my UniChip is for sale. $400 ($608 brand new). I'm going the S/C route.

hmmmmm, I might in interested in the unichip but I thought the gains weren't there (previous threads). Did you get it dynoed? was retuning necessary or was yours good to go from the beginning?
