Touring tire question . . .

Looking for something better than the OEM's. Anyone using BS Turanzas or Toyo TPT's? How do they compare to stock in confort, quiteness and handling?

I cant speak for either of them, but I am running the Falken 512's. They are much improvement over the stock tires I had. Many guys here are also fans of the Continental tires. Both have good prices for the performance they provide.

I have 225/50/17 ContiTouringContact. No complaints so far about grip off the line or handling around turns.... and less road noise than stock. Only problem is their shape... they look like they could fit on a 9" wide rim with ease. The bulge on the profile is quite pronounced on my 17x8" wheels. On one hand I'll never scratch my rims... but the appearance is taking some getting used to, and I will probably get something different next time around. And to think I almost put 235s on the wheel... :cringe:

I'm thinking about the TPT's next time. They look like a good all around tire.

Thats what I was going to do also, until I saw a set on a Accord Coupe. The side wall was butt ugly!
