Touch Up Pain Question

Hi all, I'm about to put some touch up paint to my bumper, there are two long scratches left by some jack a$$ in the parking lot. What should I look out for? Any pointers? I don't want to screw anything up! My CL is siver by the way. Thaks

make sure u use multiple coats...it may look like it matches after 1 or 2 coats when it's wet, but it won't when it's dry...and before u put on the first coat, shake the hell outta it.

I'm working on the same problem. Let me tell you, the silver touch-up paint from the dealer is no good. I tried several coats already and it doesn't match still. So far, LANGKA is not working for me.

I just bought some silver touch-up. Should I try it or just forget about the $4? Does bad touch-up paint look worse than chips? I was going to touch up before I get clear paint protection (xpel or stongard).

I'm have not bought Langka yet. But it did sound promising.

I used the silver factory touch paint on a few minor scratches. The color does not match at all. But in my case the scratches were pretty deep. I would rather cover up the scratch than leave it open.

i would call you dealers body shop, depends on the scratch but mine....touch up paint won't work check my sig for details. I am taking the bumper off and taking it to the shop aug 27th so they can strip it and repaint it completely, 150 or so if you take the bumper on;y. they charge you like 150 for labor of taking it off and putting it on

hope this helps,
dantes
