Torque Specs for 3.2 Cl-s 6sp

My headers are going on in a few days and I was wondering if anyone here knew what bolts need to be torqued down and to what ft-lb?

BTW, the people on these forums are the best, finding this site was the best thing to happen to my car!!!!!!

to everyone!

Anyone? I saw that there were numbers in that CL FAQ, but i am not sure if they are the same, that faq is pretty outdated.

23 lb/ft for the bolts that connect the header to the head.
40 lb/ft for the bolts that connect the header to the "A" Pipe.
25 lb/ft for the bolts that connect the "A" pipe to the converter.

Good luck with the install.

Also, the O2 sensor is 33 lb/ft but I don't have the tool to torque it accurately. I just use an open end wrench and approximate. You'll need some anti-seize on the threads.

be careful with the o2 sensors, handle it with care and dont' bang it or other objects or touch the sensor itself
