Top off with 5w-30

Forgive me if this is a bad question.

Can I top off my 03 6spd with some 5w-30 I have in the garage? Manual says it has 5w-20 in it. I'm down maybe a half quart.

While you're there, you should check your blinker fluid. If it's not right, you may need the new grounding kit as well. YMMV

Ah.. some stupid people will fill the oil cranck case literlally up to rim. I mean until they see the oil reaching the cap. This will the destruction of oil pump, broken seals and oil leaks.

I've been using 5w-30 (mobil1) since my 1st oil change. I'm up to 25k miles next week on my 03 without problems

yep, that's not a good idea. but going a little over the full mark doesn't hurt anything. i always over fill mine a bit.
