first of all, let me clarify something, galants cant be riced out w/ neons, neons are a persons taste..... THIS RICE IM TALKING ABOUT is bullshit things like "vtec" and NOS on cars taht simply dont have them, if i put a neon kit in my car, its not for rice, its for hobby, sure i could save all my money and bought a CLS but i also coulda bought a civic and totally changed it... i picked a galant because it was a better value than a CLS just not the speed....

THIS BLOODBATH i talk about is not the dealer msrp thing, its actually the resale of MItsushitso.... its very annoying that you can buy a limited edition car and not have any resale on it i bought my shit for 25 exactly a year ago and now the best i can get is 17, what bullshit... RICE COMES IN PACKAGING THAT TAKES 10 minutes.... thats basic rice for you....

ALL YOU people who call out "rice" people, please explain what you think rice is, cause you guys are very ridiculous of including galants in Riciness, galants are sophisticated....

Not to make this too long, but im Not really a newbie to forums, just this one. And if mitsubishi had the balls to actually bring the Vr-4 over to america, the CL-s would have to alot and suck some galant dick cause that is a beast compared to a CL.... nothing against acuras and shit but it bothers me when you include civics and integras w/ galants because some idiots put gay shit on thier cars

 

First of all I think you need to chill a little bro. Rice in my mind isnt a certain type of car like a civic or teg, or galant. Its what that person turns that car into. Just because I see one Galant riced out doesent mean they all are or that anyone said that yours is. Just that galant is riced out. If you dont believe putting neon lights all around your car isnt rice then maybe YOU dont know what rice is. no need to get pissed or start arguing over what other people think or sya about your car. do whatever you want, whatever floats your boat. Just different strokes for different folks.

EDIT: p.s. most resale values of cars suck. buying a car isnt an investment. IT SUCKS, but its reality. I bought my first gen cl for 20k and its now worth blue book of like 14k. just get over it.

rice is what you call a car that has been tampered with in a generally negative way from a style point of view (i.e. giant spoilers, stickers of things not even in it, a ricey loud exhaust and nothing else, etc, etc) i dont believe that anyone is calling ALL Galant's rice, that'd be like calling ALL civics rice or ALL Eclipses. galants have the ability to be riced out just like ANY car and you shouldnt take offense when someone says he saw a riced out galant or even that he sees alot of riced out galants. its all a matter of opinion, yes, and i think we can agree on a general idea of what constitutes rice, you know it when you see it. but hey whatever floats your boat.

by the way my 01 CL-S started around 32 now is about 24-25 in kelley blue book. all resale BLOWS.

There isn't that much rice out here on the island. The more you get into Queens and towards the city it starts to pick up. But we still have our fair share out on LI.

 

just so you guys know, I have some friends that bought old POS civics for the sole purpose of ricing them out in really poor taste. Alot of cardboard and bondo was used. They did it basically to get laughs and reactions from people. Driving around with the front seats reclined all the way back..one arm on the wheel etc. It was pretty funny. I'm only guessing that it's possible that that riced out mazda 323 was meant to be funny looking. Or so I hope anyway. I'd post pics, but this was like 4 yrs ago and the cars have since been sent to the junkyard.
