today i was doing some spirited driving and i was coming up on a hill in second gear, when i started to go down i upshifted but nothing happened i tried it a couple more times and it still didn't work about 5 seconds later it upshifted all the way to 5th, is this a sign my trannys going?

 

nope. for some stupid reason, grade logic can work itself even in SS mode. ive seen it downshift for more at times. sometimes, i would go to 4th and be at about 1.5 k rpms steady, and if it was uphill enough for a period of time, it would downshift me back and not allow me to go up again until speed increased.

and if you keep pressing it up, when it does go it will jump. sounds normal but not normal at the same time. tranny is fine!

 

it does that to me some times. get's stuck on the 2-3 shift when shifting at red line.

it's done it w/ both of my trannys and ecu's.
