Took Out 2 Porsche Boxsters in the Past Week.

Nothing spectacular (in terms of the specifics), but raced one from about a 35 mph roll (last Friday) on the Clara Barton Parkway, just before the Cabin John Parkway in Maryland. He had been following me closely up Macarthur Blvd from Georgetown.

When we got on the Clara Barton (4-lane), he pulled beside me. At that point we were doing 30 to 35 mph. We both hammered on it. I began pulling on him quickly, and continued to pull on him until he shut it down about 80 to 85 mph. My guess is that I had about 2-3 car lengths

Like I said, nothing spectacular, but felt good.

Soooooo . . .

I was on my way back from Best Buy about an hour ago, and had a similar situation with another Boxster. He pulled up beside me after we both made a turn onto Middlebrook Rd (where I got clocked doing 30mph over the limit, back in October). He pulled beside me at about 25 mph, and we both floored it, he pulled on me initially, then I passed him at about 60 mph, and was still pulling. He shut it down, as I did at about 75 to 80 mph. I was too focused on where the cops were hiding to pay attention to how many car lengths I was ahead.

They were NOT Boxster 'S' models (not that I could tell).

BTW: I'm running a 75-shot for daily driving.

That is all.

Everytime I say they are slow-ass wastes of money to my wife she just says ... "but they are soooo cute..."

Ugh, women. I give the 'S' props though...good track car.

I go through about a bottle a week (depending on the weather--snow).

I put the 75-shot back in for the winter. I figure the 100-shot was too much for winter temps (I just sit there and spin). I'll put the 100-shot pill back in April and run it throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

Original tranny!

I've been lucky.

I installed a tranny cooler in June, 2002 right about the time I started running nitrous. I'm curious to know if that has helped save my transmission.
