Took the measly CL-P to the track...
Best run was a 15.5 @ 90 mph. I don't think that's too bad considering it's AZ and darn near 100 degrees. I also had a half tank of gas. I hung in there with a mustang 5.0 convertible...probably an automatic.

Yeah, the time isn't THAT bad. The temp. just kills performance.

Well I ran at the track in Houston... It was a night run with 91 degree and 100% humidity.. I ran 3 times.... fastest was 15.11, then 15.24, and slowest was 15.31
I dunno about AZ temp, but that night, I had a two 10inch sub at the trunk which I totally forgot about it AFTER the run... And I have CAI, Denso, and Pulleys...
My best run ever was in April which was a cool night with a temp at 43degree, and like 40% humidity, and my car fastest run was 14.78, then 14.86, and 14.91... but then, that was without the sub and same mod.
I am wondering about this, I heard some cars, even same model, and same engine, say CLP.... I've heard some mechanic say some car seems to be faster, and some seems to be slower, thats the way it is, and really depends on the luck, and he said with those time and little mods, I am one of the lucky one!
Oh, BTW, just my little opinion.... I wonder wat kind of motor oil do yall use... now my car is 7500miles.... I already had 4 oil change, first at 1000, then 3500, 5500, 7700... The first tank of oil was the factory oil came with the car, then I started using Royal Purple from 3500 till my last oil change, which was 7500.... at 7500, i use the Penzoil regular oil, I felt a BIG different in performance... With RoyalPurple, the car seems to respone, perform, and react faster, especially in VTEC range, it pulls alot faster and harder... Now those regular oil in my car for 200miles, i felt that it seems alot slower, and VTEC pulls slower and softer.... Anyone of yall running Syn. oil and experience this?????? THanks
