too lower or not to lower

I have a 01 silver type s. i was wondering if anyone knows if u have to change the struts when u change the springs because they cant handle the lower stance.if that's the case, shouldn't i just by coilovers for about the same price and i can adjust the height

With the comptech, you use your stock shocks that come with the car. Do a search, some people have their thoughts after puttng springs on and how long did their shocks lasted with the springs.

When you lower the car, make sure you get the sway bars, they help your cornering alot. Strut bar helps by reducing the oversteer of the car. If you cant afford springs right now, I recommend getting sways.

With the aem pullies, your car has a slighty faster response time.
